So I am officially working at Booz Allen Hamilton, so I decided to get a business card for myself. Pretty fancy huh? It doesn't say Booz Allen or anything like that so I can market myself in many different ways, both inside and outside the work place! Then I ordered real Booz ones as well.
This is my third week hoteling in Rockville and it's wonderful. Compared to the hour commute on I-495 to and from McLean, Va everyday, driving to Rockville takes 1 second. It's so great, I still can't get over how short of a commute I have. Even my Dad is jealous! I got a hotel today too so I don't have to drag all my stuff back and forth from work each day!
I'm on the Policy Analytics team, working on some cool future analysis proposals. I'm also looking for other work and teams to be matrixed too so I can get more experience and really learn about what Booz does. I've been to a bunch of lunches and happy hours to meet more and more people, and I'm trying to get involved with GLOBE (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered Employee Group) too.
